About DMH PTA

The Del Mar Heights Parent Teacher Association is a volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children at our school. Any family can join the PTA and we encourage everyone to become a member. You can be an active member or a passive member.

Active members organize events and physically help out wherever they can. Passive members help out financially by joining the PTA or making a donation.

The organization is directed by a PTA executive committee composed of a 12 officials: president, executive vice president, secretary, treasurer, vice president of development, vice president of education, vice president of arts, vice president of school community, financial secretary, vice president of communications, parliamentarian, and vice president of membership.

Specifics about the executive committee can be found in the organizational bylaws. The PTA board meets once a month. Check the calendar for regular PTA meeting dates.

WHAT WE DO

WHO WE SERVE

OUR PLAN

OUR PASSION

OUR MISSION

The PTA supports Del Mar Heights by funding and staffing the school's programs and events. We host School Community Programs & Events like Heights Cares, Dads' Club, and Countdown to Summer. Donations fund our Education & Arts Programs such as SciFri, school assemblies, talent show, and drama production. Your donation to the PTA, our fundraisers, and volunteering make all of this possible!

Del Mar Heights counts on parents, alumni, and community members to make our school a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow. We have always been lucky to have parents that give so much of their time, energy and creativity, which has helped to make our school a special place for our children, staff, and community.

The stakeholders are Del Mar Heights School students, parents, teachers, school administrators and staff, volunteers, and the school community at large.

The strategic plan will outline the goals, objectives, activities, resources, products, and outcomes of the PTA as a whole within the organizational framework developed by the PTA executive committee.

We are passionate about our students and families, and we believe that through an active PTA, we can continue to support quality educational experiences for our children throughout the year. We believe strong communities provide the best environment for children as they are growing up. Every Child Matters.

The mission of the Del Mar Heights PTA is to support the success of Del Mar Heights School. We believe that our school is an institution of higher knowledge, where every student can blossom into a future leader of tomorrow. Our primary goals are to support and inspire an enriching environment that enhances our students' educational experience, and advocates for the interests of both our school and community in the larger district. We are a non-profit organization.
